The Torments of Venice

5 top reasons why you should not visit Venice.

1. You will be bitten by lots and lots of mosquitoes, even though you have a mosquito repellent band on.

2. The sun shines there a lot, which makes it very bright for you and can be very blinding at times.

3. The sun scorches your skin, which makes you feel like you are being burned alive (even hotter than Arizona).

4. It is so busy in Venice that you can't even pick your way out of the crowds.

5. It is too tourist-y! There are 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 more tourists than Venetian locals.

I always wanted to go to Venice but when I got there, I just wanted to go back to the Amalfi Coast. I read in many books and seen a Rick Steve's video about Venice being a romantic place, I disagree. It is not romantic when you are hugging or kissing someone in the hot, hot sun and getting bitten by mosquitoes. I don't think that is called romance.
